Your Premier Source for an Educated Workforce

SDACCC connects employers to an educated workforce.

The goal of this site is to serve as a connection between employers, college career centers, educational organizations, and a wide spectrum of employment ready graduates from post secondary institutions across the state of South Dakota.

Members of the South Dakota Association of College Career Centers (SDACCC), formerly known as the South Dakota Career Planning and Placement Association (SDCPPA), include nearly all colleges, universities, and technical schools in South Dakota. Each year post secondary institutions in the state of South Dakota graduate thousands of students with backgrounds ranging in healthcare, education, technology, business, government, industry and much more!

SDACCC works together with employers and organizations to better prepare our post-secondary graduates for a successful transition into the workforce.  We do this through career events, conferences, and hosting employers and organizations to participate in panels with our members, to discuss workforce issues or work together to educate our students.

SDACCC connects students and alumni to employers.

Career Service Professionals from colleges and technical institutes across the state of South Dakota work together to connect students and alumni from our member organizations with employers through various career events and networking opportunities.  Career advice, job searching strategies, relevant articles, and the latest career events can also be found on our blog for students and alumni to enjoy.  Check out our Students/Graduates page for more information!

2020 BIG Career and Internship Fair and the 2020 Teacher Career Fair

The South Dakota Association of College Career Centers (SDACCC) will hold the 29th annual South Dakota Business, Industry and Government Career and Internship Fair, known as the BIG Career and Internship Fair, and the 34th annual South Dakota Teacher Career Fair on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The purpose of this event is to connect current students and alumni with career and internship opportunities that require or prefer post-secondary education or training.

The two job fairs combined locations in 2012 making it more convenient for students and recent graduates to explore all job and internship opportunities the local, regional and nationwide employers might have for our South Dakota students and graduates.  Last year the BIG Career and Internship Fair brought in 139 employers from across South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, Missouri, Wyoming, Indiana, North Carolina, Texas, and Florida.  The South Dakota Teacher Career Fair brought in 69 school districts from across South Dakota, North Dakota, Kansas, Montana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, Texas, California, Colorado, Alaska, and Arizona.

The South Dakota BIG Career and Internship Fair and  the Teacher Career Fair is presented by SDACCC, which is comprised of several South Dakota public and private 4 year institutions, the Associated School Boards of South Dakota, and several technical colleges and institutions. We have made several changes to the fairs for this upcoming year. We have updated the name of the event to the B.I.G. Career and Internship Fair and the Teacher Career Fair with the goal of encouraging more students to attend and to help fill your pipeline of employees through both full-time professional opportunities and internships. In addition, we will be providing a more holistic experience for students through a resume review station, LinkedIn Rock Your Profile sessions, LinkedIn Profile reviews, a professional attire booth, and a free professional headshot.

Pre-registration pricing is in effect until January 31st, 2020 and includes a booth (table, chairs, skirting, drapes, etc.), lunch vouchers for two recruiters, advertising, and access to hundreds of job seekers. Booth placement will be assigned as registrations are received, so register early to receive prime booth placement.

The event will be marketed to students and alumni at 15+ post-secondary institutions across the state of South Dakota including:
